About the role
You’ll turn Stitchi’s products, projects, and everyday work into social content that makes people understand what we do and want to work with us. The role focuses on short-form video, especially TikTok, with responsibility for planning, creating, publishing, and learning from the content.
What you’ll do
- Build a practical content calendar around merchandise ideas, real projects, product details, and the people behind the work.
- Film and edit short-form videos in our Detroit workspace, from initial concept and script through the final cut.
- Write clear captions and adapt content for TikTok and other relevant social channels.
- Coordinate with the account, creative, and production teams to find useful stories and secure approval before sharing client work.
- Publish consistently, respond to comments and messages, and route potential client inquiries to the account team.
- Track content performance and qualified inquiries; use what you learn to improve topics, hooks, formats, and calls to action.
- Test relevant trends while maintaining Stitchi’s voice and showing products accurately.
What you’ll bring
- A portfolio of social content you helped plan, create, and publish, with a clear explanation of your contribution.
- Hands-on TikTok and short-form video experience, including filming, editing, pacing, and sound.
- Strong writing and visual judgment, with an eye for products, materials, and small details.
- Ability to manage a content calendar and move projects from idea to publication.
- Comfort interpreting performance data and explaining what you would try next.
- Education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
